Aer Lingus has operated a series of medical supply links to mainland China. It comes after Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE) spent €208m to buy supplies to deal with the ongoing pandemic. The Irish flag carrier is planning to operate up to 60 return trips - the equivalent of five daily rotations - to the Far East over the coming two months using its 14-strong fleet of Airbus A330s.
