Ukrainian Navy receives Bayraktar TB2 UCAV

FOLLOWING A series of tests conducted at the Kul'bakino air base near Mykolayiv, on July 16 the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence (MOU) officially accepted the first Turkish-built Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) system for the Ukrainian Navy (VMS). This was delivered as part of the contract between the MOU and the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) of Turkey, signed in December 2020, which included delivery of additional Bayraktar TB2 systems for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. One of these was earmarked for the VMS, as was confirmed by the VMS commander in January this year.
