First grey PC-21s arrive in Australia

PILATUS HAS delivered the first two grey-painted PC-21s to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), all previous aircraft having been in bright red and white training colours. The new arrivals comprised A54-045/ HB-HWS for the Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU) stationed at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia, plus A54-046/ HB-HWT in the markings of No 4 Squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown, New South Wales. The ARDU will use the aircraft for trials and as chase aircraft, while No 4 Squadron will employ the type in the forward air control training role.
