BAA chief executive leaves during time of transition

Stephen Nelson is resigning from his position as BAA chief executive officer (CEO). Colin Matthews will take over as the role effective April 1. Nelson joined the company as CEO in 2006 but leaves during a time of transition when BAA is readying to unveil Terminal Five at Heathrow Airnort.
