With over 63 years of design and manufacturing experience of electrical wiring harnesses, Co-Operative Industries Aerospace and Defense has witnessed (and weathered) the numerous changes in the airline industry. The most recent economic downturn has had a profound impact on the airline industry and its supply chains. While this is an obvious statement, it is interesting to note that the relationships between OEMs and suppliers are in transition and are also being affected.rnIn order to adapt to the new economic realities, the way in which suppliers and OEMs interact is changing. To assure mutual survival and future prosperity, there is a greater focus on teaming and working together, as opposed to the 'silo' approach which was prevalent in the past. Specific supplier strengths are being recognisGd and leveraged so as to reach the common goal of a reliable and cost-effective product.
