The year 2000. The 21st cen-tury. Many of us grew up thinking about this date as a far off and futuristic time. George Jetson flying to his job, a robot cooking his dinner. Or how about Hal the computer? At the very least we looked at it as a "new age" and a time where the world would be a different and hopefully better place. It was a nice dream.
