Airship ventures, a company that has flown a zeppelin for sightseeing, promotions, and science research since 2007, has shut down for lack of business ("Z2," Feb./March 2011). Its Moffett Field, California-based zeppelin, Eureka, will likely be dismantled and shipped back to Germany for resale. Brian and Alexandra Hall head the small company that brought a passenger airship to the United States, the first since the 1930s. Brian Hall says that for the cost of a one-minute Super Bowl ad, a Fortune 500 company could sponsor Eureka for a year. Still, there were no takers.
