"If I can get the engines, and help from Boeing, we can do the airplane lickety-split," says Bob Bogash, project manager for the Museum of Flight's effort to get the first 727 airborne again. "This airplane has had a tremendous amount of restoration work," says Bogash, a retired engineer who spent 30 years with Boeing, "and on February 9 we would fly the airplane to Boeing Field on the 50th anniversary of its first flight." That's Plan A, but unless help arrives, like, yesterday, Bogash needs a Plan B.
