Controlling VOC Emissions with Biofiltration

摘要

Biofiltration is frequently used to control odors in air streams. However, such systems can also provide a cheap, more energy efficient, and sustainable control solution to address both odorous and hazardous air pollutant (HAP) emissions. The use of biofilters to control air emissions was discussed in two separate papers presented at the Air & Waste Management Association's 94th Annual Conference and Exhibition, held June 24-28, 2001 in Orlando, Florida.
