The State Clean Energy Policies Analysis (SCEPA) project is operated under the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. SCEPA attempts to quantify the impact that existing state clean energy policies have, with the goal of helping states identify which of these policies best accomplish their unique environmental, economic, and security goals. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) analysts implement the work, with state officials and policy experts providing review and input.
