Gultstream G200 Production Ends

On December 20,2011, Gulfstream rolled out the 250th and final Gulfstream G200 at the company's Mid-Cabin Completions Center in Dallas, Texas, bringing to an end the 14-year production run of the type. The aircraft (N250GD, c 250) was delivered to Dallas from the Israel Aerospace Industries production facility in Tel Aviv on July 29, 2011. Originally introduced as the Galaxy by Galaxy Aerospace, which was acquired by Gulfstream in 2001, the first G200 rolled out in 1997 and was certificated by the US Federal Aviation Administration in 1998.
