Flybe Fleet Changes

British regional carrier Flybe has contracted remarketing specialists Cabot Aviation to find subleases for five of its 14 Embraer ERJ-195LR regional jets. Removing them from service is part of a major transformation under way at Europe's largest regional airline, which is based at Exeter, Devon (see Flybe Restructures, December 2013, p33). Nine other ERJ-195LRs will remain in service until the end of the 2014 summer season. One option understood to be under consideration for the nine is to transfer them to Flybe's contract flying operation, Flybe Nordic.
