Saudi Eagles Heading West

Eight Boeing F-15S Eagles supported by a pair of Airbus Military A330-203 Multi-Role Tanker Transports arrived at Moron AB in Spain on February 10. The Eagles comprised four each from 6 and 55 Squadrons, with 605 belonging to the former. They were all on their way to the United States and are understood to be the first batch due to be upgraded as F-15SAs. Saudi Arabia will upgrade its 68 F-15Ss as F-15SAs, while a further 84 new-buil aircraft will be acquired.
