CJ3 deliveries reach 600

AN UNDISCLOSED customer in North America recently took delivery of the 600th Cessna 525B Citation CJ3 from Textron Aviation. The light business jet -an example of the current CJ3+ production model - was handed over on April 5 from the company's facility at Wichita, Kansas.A total of 416 CJ3s were produced prior to the introduction in mid-2014 of the CJ3+, which differed from the earlier version by having Garmin G3000 avionics in place of the original Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 suite. The CJ3 entered service in December 2004 and Cessna delivered the 100th aircraft in August 2006, with the 400th rolled-out in late March 2013.By the end of 2020 a total of 595 CJ3/3+S had been handed over, indicating that five additional aircraft have been delivered to customers this year so far.
