The 131st Fighter Squadron, 104th Fighter Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard based at Barnes ANGB near Westfield, participated in exercise Red Flag at Nellis AFB, Nevada for the first time since it transitioned from the A-10A Thunderbolt II to the F-15C Eagle. Red Flag 09-05 ran between August 24 and September 4. F-15C 79-0064/'MA' is pictured landing following a combat air patrol sortie,~carrying an ACMI (air combat manoeuvring instrumentation) pod under the wing.
