Thuraya Aero's live demonstration

THURAYA, A mobile satellite services subsidiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, has successfully conducted a live demonstration of its Aero mobility platform. The technology demonstration replicated a real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) mission over satellite communications (SATCOM) to key UAE government customers. Called Thuraya Aero, it showed reliability and effectiveness when employed in border/maritime patrol, environmental protection and disaster relief missions.
