New Nextant 400 Variant

A NEW version of the remanufactured Nextant 400 has recently been revealed, Sky Aviation Holdings of Pompano Beach, Florida, is offering the Nextant 400TK (for 'Turnkey') under licence from the Ohio-headquartered company. Sky Aviation sells pre-used business jets in the south Florida region, Nextant has offered 400XT/XTi/XTe rebuilds of the Beechcraft 400/Hawker 400 since it was certified in October 2011. Existing airframes are stripped and the vast majority (some 88%) of the systems and structures are replaced or overhauled, Customers can select the extent of the upgrade required, but usually the avionics are updated with the Collins Pro Line 21 suite and the existing Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D-2 engines - considered by some to be the weak point of the aircraft - are replaced by Williams FJ44-3AP turbofans, The result is a zero-houred airframe with a 50% increase in range, 32% improvement in fuel efficiency and lower operating costs, for a purchase price significantly below that of an equivalent new-build jet. The 400XT is considered a new aircraft for valuation purposes.
