FEDEX RECENTLY completed the first scheduled drone delivery to a residential area in the United States. The company delivered the package to a property in Christiansburg, Virginia, using the drone service Wing. The latter has received an expanded Air Carrier Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration to deliver small packages directly to homes in the US.
