Spain's first Standard Ⅱ NH 90TTH

The first Fuerzas Aeromovites del Ejercito de Tierra (FAMET or Spanish Army Mobile Air Force) NHI NH 90TTH in Standard Ⅱ (STD-ll) configuration was noted at Airbus Helicopters' facility in Albacete, Spain, on September 18,2019. The helicopter, HT.29-14 -10210/ ET-814, is equipped with an electro-optical infrared (EO/IR) turret on the port side and will be handed over to the FAMET before the end of the year. Until then helicopter HT.29-14/ ET-814 is being used as a prototype to certify the new STD-ll configuration, including the EO/IR systems, before becoming the first FAMET NH 90TTH STD-ll in service.
