Aurigny has put its second New Generation Dornier 228 aircraft into service. The aircraft, G-ETAC (c 8321), named after the Les Etacs islet off Alderney, joins the airline's other Do 228-212NG, G-OAUR (c 8305), delivered in 2015. G-ETAC's arrival was delayed by the manufacturer RUAG Aviation, which provided a classic Do 228-202K G-OMAF (c 8112) to ensure Aurigny could maintain its schedule. With G-ETAC's delivery, G-OMAF returned to RUAG's Oberpfaffenhofen base in September. The two Do 228-212NGs are now operating alongside Aurigny's own pair of classic Do 228s, G-LGIS (c 8160) and G-SAYE (c 8046).
