Advocacy is an essential part of the Air Force Association's mission, along with supporting the Air Force family and educating the public on the pivotal role of aerospace power in the nation's security. Central to AFA's advocacy is its role in The Military Coalition, or TMC, a collaboration of 32 military organi- zations that presents a powerful voice to Congress on behalf of 5.5 million military members and their families. TMC works tirelessly for them. "Military personnel cannot express themselves politically and we are the bestvoice they have," saidTMC President Herb Rosenbleeth. "We are advocating for the interests of the entire military community," he added.
