U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York (right), member of the House Appropriations Committee, recently visited Aerco Intl. Inc. in Blauvelt, New York, to see firsthand the skilled jobs and business the production of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and amphibious warships bring to the region and local economy. Aerco is a manufacturer of high-efficiency water heaters and boilers for a wide array of marketing verticals that include government, multifamily housing, hotels, office buildings, health care facilities, K-12 schools, and universities. During her tour, Rep. Lowey met with Aerco's employees to discuss their unique skills required for manufacturing precision, high quality water heating systems for both military and commercial sector customers.
