Peggy Ⅰ. Knizner: Over Two Decades of Committed, Longstanding, Superb Service to NAAA

NAAA turns 50 this year. Peggy Iona Knizner has been with the association, dutifully serving it and the aerial application industry, 43 percent of that time. She began with NAAA on May 31,1994, as an administrative assistant. At that time the association was running deficits and had a membership of just over 1,000. At her retirement at the end of 2015-after 21 and a half years of service-NAAA had approximately 1,900 members and $3 million in reserves. That's not coincidental. Peggy has been a major contributor to the association's success these past two decades. She is a rock at NAAA. As the second in command, assistant executive director at the time of her retirement she was overseeing the finances in a frugal and efficient manner while growing revenues via membership and convention to ensure NAAA has had the resources needed to provide the invaluable government relations, public relations, communications and educational services to sustain and strengthen the aerial application industry. Peggy's last official day was New Year's Eve 2015. In her wake NAAA's footing and reputation have never been stronger. I have felt blessed having her as my right-hand associate since I began in this position in 2002.
