Jeffrey Tippins is a Rising Starr in the Ag Aviation Industry

Jeffrey Tippins of Starr Companies has been actively supporting NAAA for the past 10 years. After graduating from Georgia College and State University's business school, he joined NationAir Insurance Agency as a sales executive. After a few years on the agency side of the insurance business, Jeffrey became a light aircraft underwriter at AIG in Atlanta. That is where he got his first introduction to agricultural aviation, which he enjoys immensely. Jeffrey has often said, "Ag is by far my favorite type of business to underwrite!" At AIG, he quickly rose to become the assistant branch manager. He continued his advancement on the underwriting side of the insurance business when he joined Starr Companies in 2008 as a branch manager. He has steadily progressed at Starr and was promoted to vice president last year.
