Digital printing, the latest as well as the most potential textile printing methods, is increasingly becoming more accessible for the textile printers around the world to enable the designers to produce innovative prints as per their imagination in the right colour on the right fabric.rnDIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IS the fastest growing method of printing textiles thanks to the advances in digital printing equipment and software, such as print heads and ink dispersion techniques. This technology is gaining more of a foothold than screen printing in the textile market today. A recent study, a joint effort between consultancy Pira International and FESPA, has forecast that the market for digital prints could grow to about US$1.3 billion (€lbillion) by 2014. Digital printing is making inroads into household textiles, garments, technical textiles and display (e.g. soft signage).
