The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is due to make adecision at its plenary session from 18 to 21 October onwhether to keep Botswana on its grey list of states seenas safe havens for supporting terrorism funding andmoney laundering.Botswana has been on the list since October 2018.Based on FATF's conclusions, the European Union (EU) inturn included Botswana in its list of high-risk thirdcountries in 2020 (AI, 02/12/20).
