SecPro Africa dives deeper into maritime security with Italian surveillance camera sales

Nigerian defence and security company SecPro Africa has sold several X-Serie surveillance cameras designed by Starlight Italia to DG Risk Group, a British contractor active in Nigeria's maritime security services. These infrared night vision cameras are much cheaper than those generally offered by defence manufacturers. They are based on hardware from the civilian market, including Samsung's SSNR III Starlight sensor, designed for CCTV cameras. The new equipment will be supplied to patrol vessels operated by DG Risk on behalf of the Nigerian Navy as well as private oil companies to combat piracy in Nigerian waters.
