Ukraine's Techimpex parades upgraded BMP-1 combat vehicle in Cairo and Kampala

Techimpex and Nova Technology are currently prospecting for business in Egypt. The Ukrainian military manufacturer and its sister company recently submitted a proposal to the Egyptian army to supply it with modernised BMP-1 combat vehicles from old Soviet stock. They are equipped with a Spys turret in place of the standard turret and can be used to target infantry, armoured personnel carriers (APC) and heavy tanks. Meanwhile, Nova Technology has also approached the Ugandan armed forces with an offer to supply a variant of this same equipment.
