MOZAMBIQUE Carlyle’s EnerMech already poised for comeback

A year after dissolving its Mozambicansubsidiary EnerMech Mozambique inDecember 2018 ( AEI 832), the Britishoil services firm EnerMech is back inthe country. The company, which wasbought by American investment giantCarlyle in 2018, has opened a newentity in Maputo. The new branch,Enermech Engineering Mozambique,will aim to provide services, mainlypipeline construction and infrastructuremaintenance, to actors in the oil andgas industry. This comes four monthsafter John Grover was appointed strategicsales director of the EnerMech inOctober 2019. Grover announced hewould be developing LNG projects inemerging markets like Mozambiqueand Papua New Guinea.
