ENH’s Omar Mitha links in to Cabo Delgado Frelimo connection

Omar Mitha, the all-powerful director ofthe national oil company ENH, will be teamingup with TCRK offshoot TCRK MarineMozambique to create ENH LNG Shipping,a national fleet of vessels for the transportationof liquefied natural gas (LNG). TCRKwas founded in 2015 in the Cabo Delgadoprovince town of Pemba, from wherePresident Filipe Nyusi hails and from wherenearly all of the country’s offshore gasreserves are located. Multi-sector businessmanJose Mateus Katupha, Frelimo MPand who enjoys close ties to the head ofstate ( AEI 799), is a member of the boardat TCRK. Katupha was also chairman of thestate-run Petroleos de Moçambique(Petromoc) as was as minister of culture.
