After locking in its third exploration block- the offshore Lixus permit - on April 3,British junior Chariot Oil & Gas has positioneditself as a key contender on theMoroccan market. Chariot is joined byQatar Petroleum, which picked up a 30%share in the Tarfaya agreement, comprising12 offshore blocks operated by ENI inMarch, along with a flurry of other juniors.
