Its time has finally come! The Boeing Dreamliner seems to have been on its way for an age, but October should see it entering service with ANA. As deliveries gradually build up through next year, all the preparations and anticipation will be put to the test as maintenance operations strive to deliver on the promise. One reason why the critics of this programme - the first all-new Boeing jetliner since the 1980s - have been so vociferous in recent years is because expectations were so high for what was hailed to be the most advanced commercial airliner in terms of innovation and efficiency.
