Aiming high with CPD

As an RAeS member, you have signed up to the Society's Professional Code of Conduct, set out in the By-Laws, which says: 'The Code of Professional Conduct of the Society places a personal obligation on its members to act with integrity and in the public interest. In discharging theri professional duties, members should: 1. Act with due skill, care and diligence and with proper regard for professional standards.' In line with the requirements of all Professional Bodies, compliance with this means that a member should take all necessary steps to maintain and this is more fully set out, as engineers and engineering technicians must, from the point of registration, demonstrate their 'commitment', to maintaining their competence throughout their career.
