A Finnish Air Force combat-veteran Bristol Blenheim IV was unveiled at the Aviation Museum of Central Finland, Tikkakoski, on June 30, after restoration by Air Force volunteers. Delivered to Bomber Sqn 42 onrnApril 6,1944, Blenheim BL-200 became the personal aircraft of the unit's CO, Maj Kalle Kepsu. He led 30 bombing missions in it, and BL-200 went on to fly a total of 59 sorties against Soviet targets between April and September 1944. After the armistice on September 4, thernBlenheim continued flying against German targets in Lapland during 1945. Post-war BL-200 flew on liaison duties at Finnish Air Force HQ, being retired injune 1957.
