Shar at Tangmerre

On february 21 the prototype BAe Sea Harrier FRS.2 made the road trip from Farnborough to its new home at the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum. The "Shar", ZA591, was previously on display with the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust, but its owner, Gary Spoors, has decided that more people are likely to see it at Tangmere. That hope was borne out during Tangmere's open day on March 9, when more than 2,000 visitors turned up, exceeding the record attendance achieved at the 2007 open day by more than 25 per cent.
