The Spectacular new tam Museum reopened at Sao Carlos, 155 miles north-west of Sao Paulo in Brazil, on June 13. Previously known as Wings of Dream, the museum had originally opened to the public in November 2006 in an old tractor factory, but was closed in June 2008 for a rebuilding programme,rnFloorspace has now more than doubled, increasing from 102,258ft~2 to 237,000ft~2. The extra exhibition spacernmeans that 72 of the collection's 96 aircraft are on show, many in displays depicting the environment in which they operated. Highlights include the world's only Savoia-Marchetti S.55 and a Lockheed L-749 Constellation.
