Flying Legends. That phrase conjures up two images. First, for airshow-goers,it means the Fighter Collection's annual airshow at Duxford each July. Secondly, it has wider connotations of aviation history's most iconic aircraft andrnaviators. This issue of Aeroplane features elements of both. As well as news coverage of the airshow on page 9, Steve Slater in his Hangar Talk column on page 15 looks at the changing face of the event, and sheds light on the reasons behind it.
