Second SOT Lysander takes shape

Restoration of the Brussels Air Museum's Westland Lysander IIITT, V9562, is nearing completion with the Sabena Old Timers group (SOT) at Brussels Zaventem International airport. The machine has been painted in Royal Canadian Air Force target-tug colours, andrnalthough the €25,000 (£22,400) project will be finished in early 2010 no date has yet been set for the Lizzie to go on display at the museum's impressive Parc du Cinqantenaire site in Brussels.
