Colditz gets a Cock

Two years after construction began, a reproduction of the Colditz Cock glider has been completed by a team at the Flugwelt Altenburg Nobitz Club at Altenburg Airport, 35 miles south of Leigzig, Germany. The aircraft is to go on display at Colditz Castle in Saxony, the former Oflag IV-C prison camp, where the original glider was built secretly in an attic late in the war by a team led by Plt Offs Jack Best and Bill Goldfinch.
