In december 2010 Gp Capt Terryjones, the new station commander of RAF Linton-on-Ouse in Yorkshire, reaffirmed his commitment to the Air Training Corps (ATC) when he flew a cadet for the first time. In October 1983 Terry had become the millionth Air Cadet to undertake an "air experience" flight in a de Havil-land Canada Chipmunk T.10 with No 10 Air Experience Flight (AEF) at RAF Woodvale, Lancashire, and this was the first time he had flown with the cadets since then. The flight took place at RAF Church Fenton, Yorkshire, home of No 9 AEF. The Flight, part of Yorkshire Universities Air Squadron, provides flying experience and training for cadets from all over the region and further afield. Its pilots are all volunteers, and now include Gp Capt Jones, who will be flying cadets in his spare time. It
