We and The Spirit of St Louis

This is a Flyleaves first, in that it is a double review of two books about the same momentous flight by the same author. The flight was the first crossing of the Atlantic from west to east, from the US to continental Europe, in 1927 to win the Ortieg prize. The author is obviously Charles Lindbergh whose welcome in Paris is part of history. The difference is that "WE" (the "we" being Lindbergh and his trusted Ryan NX - 211) was written in a month and published almost immediately after that record-breaking flight to capitalise on what would now be called Lindbergh's celebrity status around the world. The second book was published 26 years later and is more extensive and reflective.
