A third 'Bucc' at Elvington

Blackburn Buccaneer S.2B XV168 arrived at the Yorkshire Air Museum (YAM) at Elvington on August 18, following presentation to the museum by BAE Systems, at Brough, near Hull. Redevelopment of the factory site at Brough led to the decision to offer the airframe to YAM as the most fitting place to house the aircraft. The Buccaneer underwent development trials at Elvington Airfield and the Blackburn company site at Holme on Spalding Moor, which is close by.
