Blenheim's new colours

Monday August 12, saw a visual milestone achieved when Bristol Blenheim G-BPIV, of Blenheim Duxford Ltd, made its first outside appearance in its new colour scheme reports Col Pope. The aeroplane now incorporates the distinctive short nose of Blenheim I L6739, an aeroplane that served as a night-fighter with 23 Sqn RAF in 1940 and will wear those very markings when completed. Substantial progress is being made on the internal systems, while the airframe itself is 85 percent completed.
