On June 19, The Fighter Collection announced that the Planes of Fame's Chino,California-based Boeing P-26 Peashooter was being freighted across the Atlantic to become the star act at the Flying Legends show at Duxford on July 12-13. The P-26 was the first all-metal US Army fighter monoplane, and this aeroplane, 33-123/ NX3378G, is the only flying P-26 in the world. Flying Legends will be the only opportunity to see this historic aircraft in the UK.
