Searching through my photo files recently I came across a damaged D.520 at Etampes-Mondesir taken on May 29, 1957. The propeller was bent which pointed to an undercarriage problem, and the starboard undercarriage leg had clamps on each side of the wheel. The c 650 and designation D.520DC revealed it to be one of about thirteen converted to two-seaters. My log book describes it as being from the Patrouille d'Etampes, presumably from the small crest on the tail.
