'Dogfights', high-g and low-level in Lansens

Sir, As a keen reader of Aeroplane I have often found it amazing how stories and photos can trigger memories and result in interesting letters to the magazine. Now, in the March 2014 issue, it was my turn! A photo of Lansen 04/3 on page 40 caused me to look in my old notes. Yes, I had flown in that aircraft twice. In March 1988 I was sent to the F13M Wing at Malmslatt Air Force Base to fly in the back seat of Saab 32 D/E Lansen fighters, at that time converted to target-towers and ECM aircraft. The reason was that I was in need of gaining some experience of how things felt up in the air during dogfights and getting an understanding of limitations and possibilities.
