Winter surge for Just Jane restoration

At East Kirkby, work to get the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre's Avro Lancaster Ⅶ NX611 Just Jane back into the air will accelerate over the winter months, following the application for A8-23 maintenance approval to the Civil Aviation Authority. In order to address the long list of tasks required to make NX611 airworthy, the airframe will be rigged in a 'flying' attitude on trestles, with many large components removed including the bomb doors, ailerons, elevators, rudders, turrets, engine nacelles, propellers, wing tips, fillet panels, undercarriage doors and the H2S blister.
