Epson extends range of dye-sublimation printers

Two models of dye-sublimation printer capable of the high-quality reproduction of photographic images for transfer to textiles have been revealed by Epson Europe BV. The company, which is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, says the SC-7200 and SC-F6200 models can create printed images for transfer to clothing, sportswear and home textiles. Both models exploit Epson's printhead (PrecisionCore TFP) to produce accurate, clear prints with good colours. They use the company's variable sized droplet technology, output at a resolution of 720 × 1440 dots an inch, and each has a high-capacity (1.5 I) ink system and a 2-1 waste bottle.
