Nanoval celebrates first sale of novel spunlaid line

Nanoval of Berlin, Germany, has sold the first production plant for spunlaid nonwovens based on its unique process for spinning continuous filaments. The sale of the 1.6-m-wide line, which concluded in September 2017, is to an Asian manufacturer that will use it to make polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) filter media with basis weights in the range 20—50 g.m~(-2).
