Roofing membrane fabric with edge made of low-melt yarn

A highly stable fabric for waterproof roofing membranes has been developed by Booyoung Textile of Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.Disclosed in US Patent 2018/0340274, the fabric (100) features an edge made of low-melt yarn and is said to possess high durability and a long lifespan, while the waterproofing layer is resistant to pollution, weathering and microbes.The fabric's durability stems from the strong coupling forces imparted between its yarns and the provision of clearly finished linear edges.
